It covers Jacob's journey from Canaan to Egypt to be reunited with his son, Joseph. The big question this passage answers is: As God's people, how can we walk with confidence through the unknowns of life? An answer is given by each of the three parts of the passage: The Promise of Safety, The Proof of Safety, and The Provider of Safety.
