Seeing God When Life Is Hard

LifeSpring Community Church is our sending church and this sermon was from a series entitled "Joseph: Living in the Spirit of God." It covers Joseph settling his family in the land of Egypt and contrasts how the Egyptians faired during the famine in the land with how Joseph's family faired. The big question this passage answers is: What happens when our eyes are fixed on ourselves?  We receive an answer from two vantage points: Jacob's Narrow Picture that Life Is Hard and the Big Picture that God Is Faithful.
