Exodus: Redeemed for God

Freedom is a good thing. But it’s not America’s idea. Three thousand years ago, God set the people of Israel free from slavery by leading them in an exodus out of Egypt. The Bible's book of Exodus is a story of freedom. Then over a 1,000 years later, Jesus enacted a new exodus to set people from the powers that have enslaved humanity all the way back to the first people. The Exodus story ultimately points to Jesus as the ultimate liberator, rescuer, and redeemer. This world is not how it's supposed to be and Jesus is our hope for a better one.
