Genesis: Beginning the Journey Home

Genesis is a book of beginnings: the beginning of creation, the beginning of humanity, the beginning of what's wrong with the world, the beginning of the nation of Israel. The biggest beginning in this book is God's plan of salvation for humanity. Humanity’s home is supposed to be with God under his care, protection, and guidance. But because of our rebellion against God, our home with him becomes the first broken home in human history. However, God puts a plan into motion to bring us home. In Genesis, we see the beginning of our journey home.
