Now in Flesh Appearing

The soundtrack for the Christmas season includes many songs about God himself appearing in the flesh as a baby boy named Jesus, born to Jewish parents 2,000 years ago in ancient Israel. For this reason, Jesus is also called “Immanuel”, meaning “God with us”. But which God is with us? And what is he like? “God with us” could be good news or bad news depending on which God it is. In this teaching series, we’ll spend six weeks on the five attributes God used to describe himself in Exodus 34:6-7 and which Jesus displayed in the flesh.
