The Joy of Being Loved

We were made for the joy of being loved no matter what. This is an undeserved, unearned love not based on what we do. Joy describes how it feels to be loved this way. Joy means someone likes us, enjoys us, and delights in us no matter what and we feel that we matter to them. We were made for the joy of being loved by God no matter what. Without this love, we go on a desperate search to find it elsewhere but we never will because only God can give it to us.
